We met her in the village. She walked for hours through the mountains in flip flops in labor to meet us.
She was very pregnant at almost 42 weeks gestation. After a very long labor including a transport she birthed a beautiful and healthy baby.
We paid her hospital bills and brought her back to the birth center.
Now she’ll recover for a few days at MamaBaby Haiti and then make the long journey home with her baby.
