This year we would like to honor all of the midwives working so hard through a global pandemic and the many impacts … from sickness, lack of supplies, food shortages and global inflation, we know it’s been a hard year.
“Follow the data, invest in midwives” – that’s the theme of the 2021 International Day of the Midwife, and it is through this lens that we will continue the ongoing and growing efforts to center midwives as fundamental to ending preventable maternal and newborn death and achieving a reduction in the global maternal mortality ratio to less than 70 per 100 000 live births by 2030!
Thank you for your continued commitment to the well-being of mothers and babies around the world.

Meet the student midwives at MamaBaby Haiti. They are actively learning so much about pregnancy birth, postpartum and newborn care. Globally midwives help to reduce to maternal and neonatal mortality rate. They improve birth outcomes. They make a difference.
Our hopes are that all the students when they graduate will get jobs in various birth centers, clinics, hospitals or in their communities. All previous graduates are employed.
Your donations continue to support our Midwifery School.
